Tech Friday!
Please list one goal that you have for reading class this year. Please focus on reading class and not 6th grade in general. This could relate to a book, technology or writing!

Summer Reading
I hope that you have spent at least a little time reading this summer! I have recently spent a couple of weeks on The Seven Realms Series by Cinda Williams Chima - after reading the first one, The Demon King, I had to keep going with the series.
I am also looking forward to the movie release of The Giver in August - check out the official trailer here! There are tons of books being turned into movies this year - check out a few of the others here!
Have you read any books that you just loved this summer? What about books being turned into movies, like The Giver?

Welcome! Week 1
Welcome to 6th grade Reading class. You will have a blog response nearly every week this year, starting with today!
I would like for you to introduce yourself by answer each of these questions:
1. Name, first and last - if you go by a shortened or different version of your name, use it now! (Example: Sam instead of Samantha or Samuel)
2. Name the best book you have read, no matter how young you were when you read it.
3. List the best activity you did this summer.
4. List one "thing" you are excited about for middle school.
5. List one "thing" you are NOT excited about for middle school.
Click on the "Add a Comment" link below and answer all five questions!
